Mayfair Mall suspect arrested, police say
A 15-year-old Milwaukee teenager was arrested and accused in connection with the mass shooting that wounded multiple people inside Mayfair Mall, a popular shopping center in the suburban Milwaukee County community of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, police said in a news conference.
“The Wauwatosa Police Department is pleased to announce the arrest of a 15 year old Hispanic male in connection with the shooting at Mayfair Mall,” said Police Chief Barry Weber in the Sunday news conference. That description varied from the one initially released of a white male in his 20s and 30s,

A second teen has died after a shooting at a Sacramento, Calif., shopping mall, police said Saturday.
The shooting happened Friday night at the Arden Fair Mall. A manhunt was underway for the shooter, police said.
Police said the shooting victims were two males 17 and 19. The 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim died hours after being taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The motive for the shooting remained under investigation.
Police tweeted that the shooting was an isolated incident. “There is no active threat at this time,” the tweet said.

“Investigators are working tirelessly to identify and apprehend the suspect from yesterday’s shooting at Mayfair Mall,” the Wauwatosa Police Department said in a tweet Saturday. Police also asked anyone who witnessed the shooting Friday to contact them.
