The Clark County medical examiner has identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed late Monday while trying to cross state Highway 500 as Jack L. Campanale.
The 30-year-old man’s cause of death was found to be blunt head injuries, including multiple skull fractures. The medical examiner ruled his death an accident, according to an agency news release.
Campanale’s city of residence was listed as unknown.
He was reportedly being sought by police for an incident at Vancouver Mall when he was struck on the highway near Northeast Thurston Way.
