The Southfield City Council has approved an $11 million purchase agreement for the former Northland Center mall, according to a news release.
Contour Companies of Bloomfield Hills will buy and redevelop the former mall with office and green space, retail areas and restaurants. The company also plans to develop apartments at various rental rates, according to the release.
