DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The Middle East’s largest operator of malls expects revenue and earnings to climb back to pre-pandemic levels by the end of next year and is moving full steam ahead with plans to develop its biggest mall ever.

When Regina Adams launched her business in the Monroeville Mall a few weeks before the covid-19 pandemic started, she had no idea she’d have to turn around and close it again.

Adams, 35, of Penn Hills opened the doors to Lil Bunny Indoor Playground and Party Place in February 2020. For the few weeks she was open, the new business thrived. The University of Texas at Arlington Libraries has collaborated with UTA Facilities on the first phase of an outdoor overhaul of the library mall to enhance the Maverick experience.

The goal of the project, which includes an updated deck, restored fountain feature and Wi-Fi upgrade, was to soften the mall’s appearance and create additional student study spaces ahead of the Fall 2020 semester.

Feeling nostalgic, Houston? This is what Greenspoint Mall looks like now

HOUSTON – Do you remember the last time you went to your nearby shopping mall?

KPRC 2‘s Amy Davis took a stop at her old “stomping grounds,” Greenspoint Mall in north Houston, during a Facebook Live Wednesday. She stopped and experienced a burst of nostalgia after hearing from a viewer post that some area of the property may have been demolished.

The Virginia Beach Police Department arrested a man on March 30 after several reports that someone had been filming undressed women at Lynnhaven Mall.

A release from investigators said the reports spanned between December 2020 and March 2021 – and although they knew of several victims, the VBPD Special Victim’s Unit thought more people could have been affected.
